Whether you are looking for a weed free lawn, vibrant flower beds, healthy trees and shrubs, or looking to repel pests and insects, our lawn and garden department can help. Our fertilizers and weed control products will keep your lawn looking its best.

We stock various types of soils, mulches, plant foods, and seeds to help your garden to be the envy of the neighborhood. Our traps, insecticides, pesticides, and other pest control items will keep those unwanted visitors at bay.

Fertilizers & Weed Control

Bagged Mulch

We sell bagged mulch in our greenhouse area. We do not sell mulch by the scoop, but you can buy a whole pallet and have it delivered. Our selections are primarily True Value brands in red, brown, black. We keep bags on hand year-round!

You can pay for the mulch inside, bring your pickup ticket from the cashier, and drive your vehicle to the greenhouse area where our team will load the mulch for you.

Tools & Power Equipment

Whether your lawn & garden project requires chopping, digging, edging, pruning, raking or anything else, we have the tool for your job! Our hand tool selection includes axes, cultivators, hoes, shovels, rakes, and other tools. We also stock replacement handles, blades, and other parts for these items.

When you visit JB Hostetter, don’t forget to stop by our Power Equipment department to see our selection of push lawnmowers, ride mowers, zero turn mowers, and tractors. And make sure your current equipment is ready for spring with our lawn equipment seasonal tune-ups.
