Community Events
At JB Hostetter we are proud to be a part of the Mount Joy community, and are always looking for ways to give back to our neighbors and to local non-profit organizations. Two ways we can do this is by hosting regular blood drives and fundraisers for Lancaster County community groups.
Blood Drives
Hospitals in Central Pennsylvania use on average of 275 pints of blood every day — that works out to more than 85,000 pints of blood every year! The Central PA Blood Bank exists to meet this local demand for blood, and we are doing our part by hosting regular blood drives every 8 weeks. Our blood drives are hosted on Saturdays from 10 am until 2:30 pm.
Join us to give the gift of life to someone in our central Pennsylvania community. Plus, you will receive a $5 JB Hostetter gift certificate, t-shirt, and free tickets to local events like the Lancaster Barnstormers.

Fundraisers
Another way we support local non-profits is by hosting fundraising events like car washes and food stands. These events, which are hosted on Saturday mornings in the JB Hostetter parking lot, provide a tangible way for our community to support these groups. Car washes and food booths start at 8 am, unless otherwise noted.
