The Lancaster County Cooperative Extension of Penn State University will be hosting a Pressure Canner Dial Gauge Test at JB Hostetter on May 25, 2017. At this event, which lasts from 1-3 pm, you can bring in the lid for your canner for a free test and calibration. In just a few minutes, you can make sure your dial gauge is accurate and functioning properly. If your canner fails inspection, the staff at JB Hostetter can help you find a new pressure canner for the upcoming canning season.
